英国消费者信心创16年来最大降幅：市场研究公司GfK称，英国7月消费者信心指数从6月的负1跌至负12，这是1990年3月以来最大的跌幅，与之形成对比的是，据经济学家们分析，英国央行可能会在下周，将利率下调至历史新低0.25%。这对英镑构成利空，同时增加了市场对英国脱欧影响发酵的担忧，这或为黄金提供支撑，提振金价。
维持利率和QQE规模不变：周五日本央行公布利率决议声明表示，维持利率和QQE规模不变，仅扩大ETF购买和美元贷款计划规模，市场大幅宽松的预期落空，这对日元构成利好，提振日元盘中大幅走强，从而使美元部分承压，黄金受此影响先跌后涨。
