英国7月房价指数月率好于预期：周四英国公布数据显示，英国7月房价指数月率为0.5%，好于预期0和前值的0.2%，这表明英国房价并未收到脱欧公投的影响，显示出英国房市依然稳健发展，这对英镑构成利好，从而打压美元，间接提振黄金。
原油供应过剩持续施压油价：美国能源信息署周三公布的数据显示，美国原油库存增加167.1万桶，创下4月底来最大周度增幅，美国原油交割地库欣库存增加111万桶，至6522万桶，为5月初以来最大周度增幅。原油库存量再增，表明供应过剩问题进一步加深，打压油价持续下跌，这或将刺激市场对全球经济放缓的担忧，从而提振黄金避险需求，助涨金价。
