美利率维持不变 黄金大幅拉升
现货黄金市场2016年7月28日4点整收于每盎司1340.8美元，较前一交易日相比，上涨了27.4美元，涨幅2.09%。现货白银较前一交易日上涨了3.78%，报20.34美元。
美国耐用品订单数据欠佳：周三公布的数据显示，美国6月耐用品订单较前月下降4.0%，不及预期下降1.1%，录得2014年8月以来最大降幅，表明外部环境震荡正在影响美国制造业发展，这对美元构成利空，从而提振黄金短线上涨。
美联储维持利率不变：周三美联储宣布维持利率不变，利率上限仍在0.5%；利率下限仍在0.25%。虽然在本次决议声明显示，美国经济前景风险减少、中期通胀上升，但美联储却并未明表示尽快加息，这让很多预期联储发表强硬决议的投资者失望，美元因此承压重挫，这让黄金摆脱短期升息压力而大幅拉升。
