美国消费者信心指数上涨：美国周二公布的数据显示，7月谘商会消费者信心指数97.3，好于预期96，前值98修正为97.4。在6月消费者信心得到改善后，7月消费者信心继续保持了稳定，这表明美国消费者对当前商业、劳动力状况持乐观态度，暗示着经济将继续以温和增速扩张，这为美联储加息提供了依据，从而使黄金承压。
亚洲股市涨至近一年新高：因投资者预期日本推出新的刺激措施，提振风险情绪走高，亚洲股市周三上涨至近一年新高，明晟亚太地区指数涨0.2%，涨至2015年8月11日以来最高，日股日经指数涨1.1%，领涨亚股；香港股市上涨0.4%。股市的上涨，吸引了市场部分投资资金，这对黄金构成利空，从而打压金价小幅下跌。
