新屋销售大增 黄金跌破1230
现货黄金市场2016年5月24日24点整收于每盎司1228.0美元，较前一交易日相比，下跌21美元，跌幅1.68%。现货白银较前一交易日下跌了1.16%，报16.22美元。
美新屋销售创8年高位：周二公布数据显示，美国4月新屋销售年率经季节性调整后为61.9万户，触及2008年1月来高位，预估为52.3万户，3月经修正后为53.1万户，前值为51.1万户。另外，美国4月新屋销售较前月急升16.6%，增幅为1992年1月来最大。强劲的新屋销售数据，进一步表明美国第二季经济增长加速，为加息提供了有利依据，从而提振美元大幅走高，打压黄金进一步下跌。
黄金ETF结束连续加仓：全球最大黄金ETF周二持仓较上日下降0.44%，至868.66吨，结束此前连续14次加仓的情况，这显示出机构看涨黄金的情绪开始消退，这或将削弱市场对黄金的需求，从而对黄金构成利空，打压金价。
