白银净多仓飙升至纪录最高位：美国CFTC周五公布的周度报告显示，截至4月19日当周，白银投机净多头头寸增加11428手，至66313手，这为2006年开始公开这一数据以来最高水平。白银持仓量创下历史高位，为白银提供了坚实的支撑，从而提振银价一路走高。
美国4月制造业PMI不佳：周五公布的调查报告显示，美国4月制造业PMI逊于预期，且为2009年9月以来最低。具体数据显示，美国4月制造业PMI初值为50.8，3月终值为51.5，预估为52.0。美国4月制造业PMI初值录得6年半以来最低，这表明美国第一季度的经济颓势可能不是暂时的，这对美元构成利空，从而为黄金提供部分支撑。
