新加坡放松政策 加速黄金下滑
现货黄金市场2016年4月14日24点整收于每盎司1242.8美元，较前一交易日相比下跌了17美元，跌幅为1.37%。现货白银较前一交易日下跌了0.68%，报16.09美元。
新加坡金管局放宽政策：周四早间新加坡金管局意外放松货币政策，将坡元汇率政策区间斜率设为零，并表示2016年的经济扩张速度料将慢于此前预期，暗示将不再追求新加坡元兑一篮子货币升值。这大大超出此前市场的预期，从而导致新加坡元大跌，消息公布后，亚市早盘美元兑新加坡元直线拉升0.9%，美元指数触及95.18的日内高点，这对黄金构成利空，从而打压现货黄金迅速跳水近10美元。
初请人数创40年来新低：周四晚间美国公布了上周初请数据，结果显示，上周的初请失业金人数减少了1.4万，至25.3，创下了1973年以来的最低水平，表明美国就业情况持续向好，这为美联储加息提供了有利依据，从而提振美元，打压黄金，国际金价在美盘时段下挫近15美元。
