澳洲四季度GDP表现好于预期：周三,澳大利亚公布的数据显示，四季度GDP环比增长0.6%，高于预期值0.4%，前值由0.9%上修为1.1%；四季度GDP同比增长3%，高于预期值2.5，前值由2.5%上修为2.7%。澳洲GDP表现好于预期，提振澳元兑美元短线飙升70点，同时暂缓了市场对经济放缓的担忧，这打压了市场的避险情绪，从而利空黄金。
美国营建支出大涨：美国商务部周二公布数据显示，美国1月营建支出增加1.5%，至1.141万亿美元，预估为上升0.4%，本次营建支出月率升至2007年10月份以来的最高水平。12月营建支出修订后为上升0.6%，前值为上升0.1%。靓丽的营建数据为美元提供了强劲推力，从而使得黄金大幅回落，本日亚盘时段，国际金价最低触及1224.
