黄金仓位大增12.2吨：全球最大的黄金ETF周一增持黄金持仓量，较前一交易日相比，黄金仓位大增12.2吨，至681.43吨。除了纽约金大量买单托盘外，黄金ETF也来拉升黄金需求，这对黄金市场构成了较大的利好。
美联储二号人物重挫美元：美联储副主席费希尔周一表示，鉴于通胀仍然过低，如果近期金融市场震荡走势持续并出现全球经济放缓的信号，则美国经济可能遭受损害。他表示：“在现阶段，很难判断这轮动荡可能造成的影响。如果这些方面的进展造成金融状况持续紧缩，可能预示全球经济放缓，从而影响美国的经济增长与通胀。”费希尔的讲话似乎强化了这样一种观点：长达一个月的全球股市和油价暴跌，可能让美联储在考虑今年继续加息的时候“留一手”，如此鸽派的观点打压美元兑一篮子货币全线下挫，从而为黄金提供了坚实的支撑。
