标志性鹰派人物意外露鸽：圣路易斯联储主席布拉德周四表示，全球原油市场持续动荡，已导致美国通胀预期“令人不安地”下滑，他表示称，迄今为止他一直愿意，将通胀预期下滑看做也许仅是一时问题。但现在他担心，油价下挫或已改变通胀预期，这将会加大通胀率升向2%目标的难度，有可能迫使联储官员重新考虑原本设想的今年四次加息。作为一个支持提早加息，且被视为鹰派人物的美联储官员，布拉德的这番言论，使得市场对美联储3月加息的预期骤降，这对美元构成利空，从而在一定程度上为黄金提供支撑。
美国上周初请人数意外”飙升”：据周四公布的一份政府报告称，美国上周初请失业金人数意外”飙升”，创下去年七月以来的最高水平。具体数据显示，美国1月9日当周，季调后初请失业金人数增加0.7万至28.4万，预期27.5万，前值27.7万。虽然美国初请人数激增，但依然处于30万人以下，且近期以来，美国的就业市场发展依然强劲，所以这对黄金的影响还是以利空为主，因而国际金价仍然面临着较大的下行风险。
