澳洲失业率骤降：12月10日澳大利亚公布的11月就业数据一片大好，澳洲失业率骤降幅度远超预期，澳元兑美元应声大涨80多点，汇价大幅上扬。具体数据显示，11月就业人口增长7.14万人，预期下滑1.0万人，前值从增长5.86万人修正为增长5.83万人；11月失业率5.8%，预期6%，前值5.9%。澳洲就业数据表现靓丽，促使澳元兑美元回家大涨，对美元构成利空，从而为黄金提供支撑，间接提振国际金价。
美元跌至一个月低位：因欧洲央行官员的讲话，令市场对欧美央行政策分化的前景抱有更大怀疑，美元指数周三曾下滑至一个月低位，推动了欧元对美元再度暴涨，且美国当天公布的经济数据欠佳，拖累四季度经济增速预估。受此影响，美元承压，从而维持低位震荡，这促使了黄金一度反弹至1080，但由于美联储加息预期乐观，国际金价再度从高位回落至1070附近。
