黄金期货市场2015年11月黄金期价10月16日收于每盎司1177.3美元，比前一交易日下跌了5.7美元，跌幅为0.48%。白银期货下跌了0.56%，报16.03美元。
上周美元净多仓降至逾一年最低位：据美国商品期货交易委员会周五公布的数据显示，投资者进一步减持美元多头押注，净多仓降至逾一年最低位。具体数据显示，截至10月13日当周，美元净多仓降至189.7亿美元，此前一周为208.9亿美元，此为2014年7月22日以来的最低位。美元净多仓大幅减持，显示出当前市场认为美元前景趋于暗淡，需求疲软，这对美元构成利空，从而提振黄金。
黄金净多头头寸升至5个月高位：美国商品期货交易委员会周五公布的周度报告显示，截至10月13日当周，纽约黄金期货及期权净多头头寸增至5个月高位，具体数据显示，黄金投机净多头头寸增加32725手，至82546手，为5月中以来最高位。纽约期金净多头头寸连续第四周增加，显示出当前市场对黄金的需求十分强劲，这对黄金构成利好，从而为黄金提供了坚实的支撑。
