上周初请降至8周最低水平：美国劳工部周四公布的数据显示，美国上周季调后初请失业金人数为26.4万人，低于前值与预期值27.5万人，并为连续第28周低于30万，且创下了8周以来的最低水平。美国初请失业金人数意外下滑，表明当前美国劳动力市场持续收紧，这为美联储年内加息提供了有力支撑，从而提振美元，使黄金高位承压，限制国际金价涨幅。
鹰金币9月销量达9.1万盎司：据美国铸币局公布数据显示，9月上半个月，美国鹰金币的销量已经达到了9.1万盎司，已经非常接近8月全月需求量。由此计算，整个9月美国鹰金币的销量可能达到16.5万盎司左右。美国金币销量持续走强，表明当前美国对黄金的需求十分强劲，这对黄金构成利好，有力的支撑金价走高，按照预计，美国鹰金币的销量还会继续增长，这很可能成为黄金未来走高的坚实支撑。
