美数据新高 黄金大幅跳水
黄金期货市场2015年9月黄金期价8月18日收于每盎司1117美元，比前一交易日在上涨了0.1美元，涨幅为0.01%。白银期货下跌了2.94%，报14.84美元。
新屋开工创8年新高：美国商务部周二公布数据显示，7月份新屋开工月率增长0.2%，折合年率为121万套，为2007年10月份以来最高水平，前月为120万套，高于初报值。美国7月份新屋开工数，升至近八年来最高水平，表明该行业将在下半年加快，表现出美国经济发展前景乐观，促使美元短线大幅拉升，从而重挫黄金，使国际金价大幅跳水。
英国通胀水平终回暖：周二纽约时段早盘，英镑兑美元强势上扬，盘中涨幅超150点，日内公布的英国7月CPI数据同比仅上升了0.1%，但好于预期的持平；核心消费者物价指数则同比增长了1.2%，大幅高于预期的0.9%以及前值0.8%。英国通胀水平，刺激市场对英国央行加息的乐观情绪重新升温，这对英镑构成利好，促使英镑兑美元汇率上涨，从而使美元承压，间接提振黄金。
