美元温和回调：周二亚市早盘，美元指数徘徊于96.85附近。上一交易日市场消息面较为清淡，市场对人民币贬值将引发货币战争的担忧消退，美联储加息预期重回市场视线，美元指数温和走高，周一收涨0.27%，最高触及96.94。在经过人民币贬值动荡后，市场情绪趋于稳定，美元指数也逐步走高，这或将预示着美元前景向好，刺激美联储加息预期重新升温，从而使黄金承压，抑制国际金价涨幅。
澳联储维持利率不变：澳洲联储周二公布的8月4日的政策会议纪要表示，维持利率在2.0%不变，该央行表示，本月维持该国利率在历史低位是合适的。此外，澳联储还表示，澳元汇率下跌提振了该国出口，最近几个月的经济活动也已有改善，房屋投资和消费的风险有所缓解。澳联储维持利率不变，缓解了市场对澳元汇率的担忧，此外，澳洲由于一直维持低利率，该国的经济得到改善，澳元兑美元的汇率或将得到提振拉升，从而间接施压美元，提振黄金。
