美联储官员暗示加息日期：圣路易斯联储主席布拉德于当地时间周二表示，尽管希腊债务违约，导致市场益发动荡和焦虑，美联储9月仍然有加息的可能，7月加息也有可能加以考虑。另外，费希尔在讲话中，虽然没有直接谈到美联储首次加息的时间，但他指出，美联储要有前瞻性，因货币政策对经济的影响滞后。美联储官员发表的言论再次肯定了美国的加息预期，并且加息时间可能比市场预期更早，这给美元的强势带来拉升作用，从而使得黄金承受重压，后市下行风险沉重。
黄金投资增速新高：全球最大在线实物黄金交易商发布了最新业绩报告，该数据显示，今年上半年黄金投资的增速是2012年以来的最高水平。其中，报告显示，和去年上半年相比，欧元流入购买的黄金和白银增加了35%，并且欧元区的新用户有大幅增长。今年上半年黄金投资创下新高，说明黄金需求正在逐渐增大，有利于金价上涨，加上受希腊危机影响，欧洲地区对黄金的需求量有所增加，进一步提振黄金。
