新西兰消费者信心指数上涨：周一公布调查报告显示，新西兰消费者信心指数从去年的第四季度114.80，升至117.40。受到国内经济稳健增长的提振，新西兰消费者信心指数从两年低位上升，反映新西兰对经济前景和预期的向好，无疑对纽元形成支撑，促使纽元于亚盘时段对美元短线走高，并刷新两个月以来的高位，美元指数再度承压，令国际金价获得支撑。
OPEC不会独自承担油价责任：沙特阿拉石油部长周日发表讲话称，虽然目前在全球石油成员国对于共同抗跌油价方面，仍然没有任何进展，但OPEC成员国不会独自承担支撑油价的责任。此外，数据调查显示，沙特国家2015年油气钻机数明显大增，其2月活跃钻机数为155座，高于1月的150座及去年12月的146座。据行业消息人士及分析师指出，尽管国际油价自去年6月以来遭遇暴跌，但沙特国家仍旧坚持不减产以维持市场份额，或打压油价再度下跌，对国际金价构成中长期的利空影响。
