黄金期货周三下跌，正面的经济数据，包括较预期强劲的第二季美国经济成长，削弱了黄金的避险吸引力，此前贵金属大致呈”之”字型的走势，维持一定幅度震荡(金价大约在1300-1360)区间波动。
在电子盘交易中，黄金价格震荡，联储会(Fed)并未暗示缩减购债行动，亦再言确表明今年暂不会进行退出（QE3）的计划，这一度令金价上涨至1339后便一度回落至1307才稳住跌势，逐渐回升。
在分析后，较预期强劲的美国经济数据，对避险资产构成了压力。
美国周三公布，第二季经济成长1.7%，分析师预估为成长1%。
ADP公司公布，美国私人企业7月新增就业20万人，分析师预估为新增18.5万人。
芝加哥7月采购经理指数上升至52.3，6月为51.6。分析师预估为54.0。
