美元下跌和空头回补助金价大涨，较强阻力位于1350美元
现货黄金价格隔夜收涨近3%，最高触及1339.53美元/盎司，创下一个月新高，美国成屋销售数据疲软，同时交易商称有大量基金回补空头，均大幅提振金价。
全美地产经纪商协会(NAR)周一公布的数据显示，美国6月成屋销售下降，但当月销量仍显示住房市场状况强劲；与此同时，由于库存依然紧张，房价继续上涨。美国6月成屋销售总数年化508万户，为2009年11月以来的次高水平，但不及预期的525万户，前值修正为514万户， 初值518万户。偏弱的数据加剧了美元的跌势，数据后美元指数触及一个月新低82.00，而其他资产则全面上涨。
黑石集团(BlackRock)投资组合经理Catherine Raw周一(7月22日)表示：“尽管目前为止黄金投资者情绪依旧偏空，今年金价已累计 下跌22%，但亚洲–尤其是中国及印度的实物金需求正在不断走强。然而，随着美国经济持续复苏，市场对通胀忧虑的担忧放缓可能令美联储提早结束购债，最 终将导致美国利率上升，这对黄金而言不是个好消息。”
从技术上来看，金价隔夜反弹在5月以来的下行趋势线1340美元附近受阻，该位也是5月下旬低位所在，更上方阻力位于1350美元，该位是前期跳空缺口所在，令金价短期面临回调风险不过短期上行动能完好，仍有继续上攻的可能。
