经济表现疲软 黄金收窄跌幅
纽约商品交易所黄金期货市场10月黄金期价9月22日收于每盎司1215.4美元，比前一交易日下滑了1.5美元，跌幅为0.12%。白银期货下跌0.39%，报每盎司17.72美元。
美国经济表现疲软:美国8月芝加哥联储全国活动指数为0.221，远低于前值和预期值，另外，8月成屋销售总数自7月份的515万，大幅回落至505万，低于预期的增长至520万，销售月率也自前值2.4%降至-1.8%。由于美国的8月经济数据自非农就业报告差于预期以来，表现较7月份均有明显放缓的迹象，导致美元走势从上涨格局中回调修正，因此为国际金价构成支持。
低利率政策将长期保持:美联储官员杜德利表示，目前存在很少的能马上拉高通胀的因素，因此实现低利率政策，将保持很长一段时间，美联储不会在时机不成熟的时候，作出加息的决定，而现时的低通胀环境，则为美联储保持耐心提供了理由。由于美联储官员杜德利发出偏向温和的讲话内容，他预计美联储仍将较长时间地维持近于零基准利率的政策，黄金作为零息资产，从短期来看有望获得上行动力。
