美国数据向好 金银大幅下行
纽约商品交易所黄金期货市场10月黄金期价9月2日收于每盎司1266.5美元，比前一交易日下滑21.5美元，跌幅为1.67%。白银期货下跌1.74%，报每盎司19.18美元。
美国8月制造业增长加速：周二公布的报告显示，美国8月制造业加速扩张，其中就业分顶创2013年3月以来的最高水平，产出分项从59.7升至60.7。受利好数据推动，美国国债受到抛售，推动其收益率大幅上涨。由于美国8月制造业数据，意外好于市场预期，提振了市场的风险情绪，投资者更倾向于选择风险性较强的产品，导致美债大幅抛售，同时也削弱了黄金的对冲风险功能。
欧央行宽松致美元走强：欧央行主席德拉基表示，欧元区经济复苏需要进一步经济刺激，受欧元区宽松预期推动，美元延续近期涨势。ICE美元指数升至83.03，创下1年多高点。由于欧央行主席德拉基对欧元区实行刺激性措施的态度，并不表示否认，这提振了市场对欧央行启动进一步宽松政策的预期，这将继续为美元走强带来动力，从而打压黄金，促使金价暴跌。
