地缘危机消退 金银走势疲弱
纽约商品交易所黄金期货市场9月黄金期价8月18日收于每盎司1298.2美元，比前一交易日下滑了7.3美元，跌幅为0.56%。白银期货上涨0.15%，报每盎司19.58美元。
建筑商信心指数升高：全美住宅建筑商协会昨日公布的数据显示，建筑商信心指数从53升至55，是7个月以来的最高水平，高于经济学家所预期的53，与此同时，建筑商信心指数已经在连续2个月里，表现出高于50的分界水平，这反映出美国的房产建筑商，对未来美国房产市场的发展表示乐观。由于美国8月的建筑商信心指数向好，令市场强化美联储加快升息预期外，也令美元受到提振，从而导致以美元计价的国际金价承压下行。
伊国军队收复失地：在美国军队进行空袭支援的帮助下，伊拉克库尔德地方武装军队近日发起反攻，取得了重大战果。伊拉克军官昨日称，库尔德地方武装与伊拉克政府军已夺回战略要地摩苏尔水坝，此前该水坝是伊国内部恐怖分裂分子，所控制的水电供应重要地区。由于伊拉克军队收复了前段时间内，被伊拉克国家内部恐怖组织所占领的基地，事件有效地缓解了市场的避险情绪，伊拉克的地缘紧张局势也暂告平息，作为避险资产为首的黄金，则被金融市场大幅抛售。
