数据差于预期 提振金价上涨
纽约商品交易所黄金期货市场11月黄金期价10月1日收于每盎司1215.50美元，比前一交易日上涨了3.90美元，涨幅为0.32%。白银期货上涨1.18%，报每盎司17.25美元。
经济数据好坏不一:美国9月ADP就业人数公布前，美元回撤，现货黄金自周二创造的日内低点反弹。而周三公布的数据显示，美国9月ADP就业增加21.3万，高于前值20.4万和预期值20.5万。稍后公布的美国9月ISM制造业指数录得56.6，不及预期58.5和前值59.0。美国9月制造业活动放缓程度大于预期，尽管民间就业增速加快，但仍然显示出美国经济扩张不均，而美国公债收益率下滑以及全球股市走软拖累美元回稳，也对金价有支撑作用。
美国9月金币销量增长:铸币厂官方网站周二的资料显示，美国金币9月销量升至58000盎司，为1月以来最高水平；今年8月的销量为25000盎司，而去年9月的销量为13000盎司。今年前9个月，金币销量较去年同期的704000盎司跌至379000盎司，下降了46.0%。由于市场预期美联储将加息，美元走强，欧元区经济摇摆不定，促使金价下跌，这对个人投资者来说是个入场买入的好机会，从而对支撑黄金的实物需求。
