领先指标向好 金银回吐涨幅
纽约商品交易所黄金期货市场8月黄金期价7月18日收于每盎司1311.4美元，比前一交易日下滑了7.3美元，跌幅为0.55%。白银期货下跌1.23%，报每盎司20.93美元。
6月谘商会领先指标向好：美国谘商会7月18日公布的数据显示，美国6月谘商会领先指标月率上升0.3%，延续上升势头。谘商会经济学家表示，过去六个月领先指标普遍上升，表明近期经济在不断扩张，扩张速度甚至有可能在今年下半年加快。由于美国谘商会领先月率的升幅，好于市场预期，这提高了美联储对经济发展的乐观预期，美元将受到提振，以美元计价的黄金则受压下行。
货币宽松政策长期危害大：欧洲央行官员魏德曼7月18日表示，宽松的欧版货币政策，为稳定物价作出了贡献，但也具有一连串的长期危害，其中，欧洲央行的货币政策无法解决欧元区债务危机。长期看来，超宽松的货币政策将给欧元区金融稳定带来风险。由于欧元区超宽松的货币政策，在短期内虽然暂时起到促进社会化生产的利好作用，而超宽松条件下，带来的欧元区低利率除了会加大金融不稳定性的风险，还会削弱欧元的国际地位，美元则会被动走强，黄金则遭到投资者的抛售。
