英央行黄金规模较去年锐减487吨

英国央行2014年年度报告显示，该行目前监管着5584吨黄金，价值约1400亿英镑。该数据较去年的6071吨锐减487吨，总价值也下降将近700亿英镑。
英国央行为很多国家央行以及伦敦金银市场协会等机构代为存储监管黄金，这些减少的黄金最有可能是协会客户持有的减少。
另外，普尔预托证券黄金ETF(GLD)的金库也设在伦敦，但有多少被存在英国央行的金库中尚无法得知。GLD在同期流出了差不多451吨黄金。如果GLD流出的黄金都来自位于香港的金库，那么外加英格兰银行金库存量的减少，总共就有938吨实物黄金流出。
另一方面，2013年3月至2014年2月间，英国出口了1593吨黄金。这和938吨之间有655吨的差别，而这些黄金则可能来自于伦敦金银市场协会额外的流出或者伦敦是私人金库中。
