中国黄金集团意欲称霸

据华尔街日报报道，近期中国黄金集团公司正与世界最大的黄金生产商巴里克黄金公司就潜在合作进行磋商，意欲在竞争激烈的黄金行业缔造一个黄金王国。
中国黄金集团公司(China National Gold Group Corp.)总经理宋鑫表示，该公司正在全球发掘收购与合作机会，意欲在竞争激烈的黄金行业缔造一个黄金王国。但他表示，有关投资矿业大亨弗里德兰(Robert Friedland)南非资产的谈判目前还未进入火热阶段。
宋鑫认为，中国的黄金需求即使今年第二季度较前一季度有所下降，但仍将保持旺盛势头。
该公司开展海外收购将会使原本沉寂的黄金并购市场恢复生气。尽管4月份传出收购奥西斯科矿业公司的交易以及黄金巨头出售多笔资产的消息，但黄金并购交易还是有所下降，因为规模较小的公司难以获得用于交易的资金，而规模较大的公司在经过多年的扩张之后基本上避开收购这条路。
中国黄金协会(China Gold Association)称，2014年1-4月中国的黄金产量共计130.69公吨，较去年同期增长。数据显示，今年前4个月中国黄金产量同比增加6.37%。其中，1-4月的矿产金量共计106.424公吨，较去年同期增长4.67%。
目前中国是世界第一的产金国，而去年因国际金价暴跌刺激的强劲买盘，中国同样取代印度，成为现全球头号黄金消费国，而其在黄金价格和生产方面的影响力与日俱增。去年中国的黄金消费量增至1,176.4吨，但产量仅为428吨，这一需求刺激了海外收购交易。
