美国就业市场复苏仍未明朗：美国劳工部周四公布的数据显示，美国3月29日当周季调后初请失业金人数增加1.6万人至32.6万人，创近五周以来的最高水平，预期31.6万人，前值修正为31.0万人，初值31.1万人。近期美联储鹰派和鸽派争论的其中一个重点就是就业是否复苏，而最新的数据上可以看出，就业市场复苏情况尚未明朗，QE的退出或许还是言之过早，预计黄金短期内大幅下跌的可能性不大。
美国贸易帐赤字规模持续扩大：美国商务部周四公布的数据显示，美国2月贸易帐赤字规模扩大至423亿美元，创去年9月以来最大水平，预期赤字385亿美元，前值修正为赤字393亿美元。除了就业市场复苏缓慢之外，美国的贸易赤字也出现了持续上升，这是导致美国债务问题越发严重的一个重要因素，这种状况对短期内黄金价格构成了一定的支撑。
