伦敦金早上开盘价为1197.9美元/盎司，截止至北京时间2013年12月24日11:30，伦敦金报价1199.45美元/盎司，高价为1199.75美元，低价为1196.5美元，波幅为3.25美元。
传摩根大通正为中国收购黄金：最近在欧美市场上有流传摩根大通正在为中国收购黄金的消息，以下是传言的大致内容：中国人民银行的主权财富基金通过离岸基金或外国代理商与摩根大通对接，操作购金一事。最近，摩根大通的客户仓库里出现了很多一千克重金条，这与正常的COMEX标准不一致(按盎司记重)。这样看来中国很有可能是这些金条的主人。同时就在今年，中国复星集团7.25亿美元收购摩根大通在纽约第一大通曼哈顿广场(One Chase Manhattan Plaza)，摩根大通的一个黄金仓库便设立在此建筑里。这里可能是黄金向中国转移的交接点之一。目前，摩根大通的客户账户上约持有114万盎司黄金。
法国兴业银行：金价未来将继续暴跌；12月23日，法国兴业银行(Societe Generale)驻巴黎策略师Patrick Legland在给客户的邮件中写道，“黄金暴跌无疑是今年市场最惹人注目的事件之一，眼下黄金几乎已经丧失对2013年系统性风险的避险能力。此前无论是意大利选举，塞浦路斯申请援助贷款、美国政府关门或是举债上限问题都没能令金价大幅上扬。另外，上周美联储意外宣布缩减QE对黄金而言无疑更是雪上加霜。” 法国兴业银行周一预计2016年黄金价格将跌至1050美元/盎司。
