巴克莱银行：第三季黄金生产成本下跌

巴克莱银行(Barclays)称今年第三季度平均黄金生产现金成本有所下跌，这说明尽管在一些关键地区有潜在的成本上涨，但黄金生产商们在削减成本的努力中有所进步。(二季度黄金边际现金成本上升5% 至1124美元)
巴克莱银行称：“平均和边际现金成本有下降，这在黄金低价的黄金中是很重要的。”
据称，第三季度黄金现金成本较上一季度下降14%，较去年下降1%，至654美元/盎司。而边际现金成本较上一季度下跌8%，较去年下降6%，至1031美元/盎司。
巴克莱银行还称：“我们预计维持资本支出在200美元/盎司左右，即使加入这一项，平均现金成本仍然低于目前的现货黄金价格。但是，如果是边际现金成本的话，有20美元/盎司左右的空间。”
此外，平均和边际现金成本间的差距从三年平均水平的310美元/盎司增加到了360美元/盎司，“这说明削减成本主要集中在曲线基础而非更昂贵的末端。”巴克莱同时称其数据不包括中国的运营项目，他们预计在中国的黄金生产平均现金成本在549美元/盎司左右。
