巴基斯坦黄金进口增15倍 部分走私印度

巴基斯坦统计局9月5日公布的数据显示，7月份的黄金进口量为3,249公斤，此较前月增加226.29%，与去年同期的199公斤相比更大增15倍，黄金进口额为1.35亿美元。截至6月底止的2012/13财年，巴基斯坦的黄金进口量较上年度的3,267公斤倍增至6,745公斤，黄金进口额达到3.46亿美元。
《MINEWEB》报导，巴基斯坦黄金进口大增部分是因为邻国印度提高黄金进口关税并限制黄金进口的影响，巴基斯坦自2001年起即可以免税进口黄金，希望藉此提高金饰加工的出口。巴基斯坦经济统筹委员会此前指出，该国免税进口黄金的鼓励政策已经遭到滥用，有许多黄金进口并非源于国内的实际需求，而是被走私到印度。巴基斯坦政府也因此在7月31日宣布暂停进口黄金一个月的时间。
7月份，巴基斯坦所有金属的进口额年增49.39%至3.3亿美元，与前月相比则增加5.88%。不过，钢铁进口年减6.5%，与前月相比也减少50%；铝进口量年减6.8%，与前月相比也减少15%。
欧盟统计局数据显示，2013上半年，英国出口至瑞士的黄金达到798吨，此几乎为2012年同期83吨的10倍，显示出黄金所有权由西方向东方发生转移。瑞士是黄金精炼的重要国家，瑞士黄金精炼厂熔化金条后交给亚洲买家喜欢的小型生产商进行进一步的加工处理。英国没有商业规模的金矿，但伦敦作为全球黄金市场的中心，据投资者和央行估计，包括英国央行在内的伦敦银行金库黄金储量高达10,000吨。
麦格理（Macquarie）贵金属分析师Matthew Turner表示，黄金出口的上升与黄金ETF（交易所交易基金）的抛售紧密相关，西方投资人的抛售很大一部分被来自中国大陆与印度的需求所吸收。除了黄金冶炼之外，大规模黄金由西向东转移也给贸易带来了商机，伦敦金银市场协会表示，伦敦市场6月黄金交易量创下了12年来最高的900吨，价值达390亿美元，特别是由于来自中国和印度对黄金实物的需求强劲。
