上週末，美國眾議院通過了1.9萬億美元的財政刺激計畫，而3月2日，日本眾議院通過1萬億美元預算案，並且打算實施更多的抗疫措施。同一時間，黃金多頭趁機逢低買入來抵擋貨幣的貶值，對抗通脹。
日本眾議院週二通過了創紀錄的1萬億美元新財年預算案，而且議員們已經在討論進一步的刺激措施，以應對新冠疫情給經濟帶來的衝擊。
與其他許多國家一樣，日本也投入大量資金對抗疫情。始於4月的新財年預算案中包含5萬億日元(470億美元)緊急儲備金；此前三個專門針對疫情的緊急刺激方案總計達到3萬億美元，相當於日本國內生產總值(GDP)的60%。
預算也達到了創紀錄水準，緣於為支持快速老齡化的人口而增加的社會保障支出，以及因應朝鮮和中國威脅而創下紀錄的國防支出。
不過日本的債務負擔一直是全球工業國家中最重的，分析師警告稱，進一步的刺激措施可能導致日本公債收益率和政府借貸成本飆升。由於日本央行大量印鈔，日本公債收益率和政府借貸成本迄今一直保持在低位。
今年實施的第二次緊急狀態，導致日本經濟在本季處於再次衰退的邊緣。最近許多地區都取消了禁令，東京及其周邊地區也將從3月初開始解除。
兩名直接知情的消息人士週一告訴路透，日本政府和執政黨官員正在討論可能向低收入家庭額外派發現金，以幫助他們應對新冠疫情的影響。
儘管黃金不孳息，但長久以來，保值率較高，而在財政政策“放水”之後，貨幣一般會貶值，黃金便會受到市場的青睞，在當前全球貨幣環境依然寬鬆的背景下，金價的中長線下行空間還受到限制。
