非农不及预期，但失业率连续下降

11月6日，美国的非农就业报告显示，失业率连续下降，新增就业人数好于预期，但低于前值。在数据公布后，现货黄金有所下挫，但美国裁员的浪潮持续进行，在没有出台新的经济刺激方案千，美国经济有可能陷入停滞。
美国10月失业率降至6.90%，预期值和前值分别为7.60%和7.90%，失业率连续六个月下降；但美国10月平均时薪年率持平预期4.50%，低于前值0.2个百分点。
重新招聘的步伐有所放缓，而裁员的步伐有所增加。在没有财政支持的情况下，美国经济陷入停滞的可能性相当高，因为疫情在圣诞节采购季节来临前加剧，这将导致美国零售业就业疲软。
总体而言，这些数据都相当强劲，尽管总体就业人数因政府就业人数大幅下降而有所下降。但所有的私人数据都很强劲。这提高了第四季度经济增长的前景。这显然是经济的好迹象，因此将对美国国债收益率构成上行压力。
报告其中一些是意料之中的损失，特别是政府工作岗位的普查工作，所以实际情况比标题数字更乐观。预计这个数字的波动性将继续很高。但建筑业、制造业、运输业和仓储业的增长都非常不错，它们是美国经济的三大支柱。

尽管美国三季度经济反弹力度达到创纪录的33.1%，但缺乏新的财政刺激措施以及新冠疫情卷土重来，使得四季度经济增长预期急剧放缓。餐饮业或体育比赛禁止室内运营。
零售商通常在10月份为备战年底假日消费而增加招聘，但因新冠疫情相应计划今年可能作罢。摩根大通经济学家认为，这可能会降低固有统计模型的有效性，政府无需从原始数据中剔除季节性波动影响。
