贸易紧张局势激发的避险情绪难以支撑金价

5月8日，现货黄金从高位回落，日内金价最高冲到1291美元。但在纽约时段，金价收回了大部分的日内涨幅，虽然市场对贸易紧张局势的担忧情绪，激发了市场避险情绪，但是目前这种避险情绪难以持续支撑金价的走高。
全球贸易紧张局势拖累全球股市走低，美股继续低开。在美国股市下跌背景下，明晟亚洲指数跌至了3月底以来的最低水平。CNN恐惧与贪婪指数周三开盘报39，表明市场处在恐慌状态。
美国总统特朗普周日在推文中表示征收新的关税，这导致全球贸易紧张局势在本周迅速升温。接下来，投资者关注周四和周五两天的贸易谈判。
全球最大的黄金支持交易所交易基金SPDR Gold的持有量在经历了下滑之后，于周二略有上升。但整体持有量仍处于2018年10月以来的最低水平。
虽然避险令金价有一定程度的上升，但全球市场存在特定背景，金价仍无法大幅上涨。
分析师表示，“到目前为止，贸易风险对股市的影响要大于贵金属。虽然黄金正在从这种情景中获得支撑，但投资者并未大幅看多金价。”
分析师表示，“黄金正受到目前避险买盘的支撑。但是，这种避险买盘对黄金支撑的动力看似比较软弱。”
分析师指出，“在贸易谈判没有进展的情况下，投资正在转向高质量的政府债券和日元，而不是黄金。这种避险对金价的支撑有限，如果谈判进展顺利，金价可能会向下测试1260美元的水平。”
分析师认为，虽然金价目前维持在1,280美元以上，但由于中国需求疲软，实际市场往往更为安静，美联储预期温和转变的程度使得黄金易受美国近期数据改善的影响。上周美联储破灭了今年降息的希望。
