黄金低位反弹20美元，市场风向导致黄金避险难以发挥作用

在8月16日，现货黄金价格在创下19个月新低后回升，回补日内全部跌幅并转向多头，上涨近20美元。原因是早前传出消息，中国将在本月下旬和美国就贸易摩擦一事开始新一轮的谈判，造成美元走软，对金价构成支撑。不过美联储加息削弱黄金避险功能，美土关系持续恶化，美元依旧强势，黄金反弹仍有一定压力。
中国商务部周四称，应美方邀请，商务部副部长兼国际贸易谈判副代表王受文拟于8月下旬率团访美，与美国财政部副部长马尔帕斯率领的美方代表团就双方各自关注的中美经贸问题进行磋商。
分析师说：“由于美元的力道减退，我们预计黄金买兴将重燃。但那可能还要一阵子才实现。”
交易员说：“市场在短期内已跌50-60美元，因此出现一些短线复苏并不意外。下午市场走升，但我不认为金价在此已企稳。行情还会震荡，市场仍然承压。”
在美联储的加息周期中，黄金的避险资产地位已经被严重削弱，投资者更倾向于持有美元现金，而非不产生利息回报的现货黄金。
此外美元指数仍处于高位运行，还因为土耳其与美国的关系恶化，市场担心土耳其总统埃尔多安呼吁下调利率。
分析师，黄金的走向和新兴市场的疲软高度相关。尽管在避险情绪回升时一般会利多金价，但是在主要非美货币和新兴市场货币相较于美元持续走软的情况下，美元具备了避险属性，导致了资金流入美元。
