中東拉美供應鏈出現警報，原油多頭降臨

交易員稱，油價上漲是因為市場預期美國將於5月份再次對伊朗實施制裁。美國總統特朗普將在5月12日之前決定是否恢復對伊朗的制裁。制裁可能導致伊朗石油出口減少。
法國總統馬克龍本周訪美帶著一個重要任務，那就是說服美國總統特朗普不要退出伊朗核協議。但分析師認為，這不太可能拯救伊朗核協議。
分析師“我們的總體觀點並未改變，那就是伊朗核協議在特朗普第一屆任期內崩盤的可能性為65%。”
委內瑞拉產量下降亦推高油價。委內瑞拉是拉丁美洲產量最高的石油輸出國組織(OPEC)成員國。相關數據顯示，除去2002年末和2003年初的大型罷工，委內瑞拉目前的石油產量已經接近30年低點，不及1999年產量的一半。
世界銀行在其大宗商品市場4月展望中表示，油價今年預計將上漲至平均65美元/桶，超過2017年的平均53美元/桶，這主要是強勁的消費需求以及OPEC持續減產的努力。
但並非所有市場指標均顯示供應趨緊。4月20日止當周美國原油庫存增加220萬桶，至4.2974億桶，比五年均值高出近1000萬桶。
自2016年年中以來，美國的石油產量已飆升逾四分之一，日產量超過1054萬桶，比沙特約1000萬桶的日產量還要高。目前只有俄羅斯生產更多石油，日產量接近1100萬桶。美國供應增加仍在掣肘市場、限制油價漲幅。
