关注决议后耶伦讲话：除了9月美联储利率决议的结果之外，投资者还希望在决议发布后的新闻发布会上从主席耶伦口中得到更多关于未来下一步政策前景，尤其是年底12月会议上会不会再度加息的相关线索。但因耶伦在周三的政策讲话令看多美元的投资者大失所望，市场普遍预期此次新闻发布会也将带来鸽派言论。
英国脱欧起内讧：英镑周二走势波动，因报道称，如果英国外交大臣约翰逊关于脱欧的要求不能得到满足，他可能在周末前辞职，英镑受此消息影响走高，但在约翰逊否认将辞职后英镑回落。报道称，约翰逊的密友认为，如果特雷莎梅宣扬为欧盟单一市场准入永久性地付费，约翰逊将不得不辞职。英国脱欧进展仍存内讧。
