美指失守101：周一美元指数在近期大涨后有所回落，失守101整数关口，刷新近七个交易日低位至100.63，这为黄金提供了反弹动能，亚盘时段，现货黄金多头大幅猛攻，一度大涨逾1%，刷新三个交易日高位至1197.72美元每盎司，直逼1200关口。
美国大选结果或要翻盘：美国大选第三方候选人之一吉尔·斯坦要求，威斯康辛州重新计票的申请，上周五获得该州选举委员会通过。选举委员会表示，将于本周启动该州历史上第一次重新计票程序，并将于12月13日之前完成重新计票工作。而希拉里的竞选团队律师宣布，计划参与选票重计，事实上，上述三个关键摇摆州总计有46张选举人票，足以左右大选的最终结果，这可能使得此前大选结果翻盘，这提振了市场避险情绪，从而为黄金提供部分支撑。
