现货黄金市场2016年8月25日4点整收于每盎司1324.0美元，较前一交易日相比，下跌了14.4美元，跌幅1.08%。现货白银较前一交易日下跌了1.69%，报18.54美元。
大额卖单砸盘黄金期货：隔夜，最活跃的12月黄金期货合约，在北京时间20点40分一分钟内成交量达12173手，价值约16.2亿美金的卖盘，这使得黄金市场空方力量大幅增加，现货黄金因此重挫近11美元。
市场预期耶伦撒鹰：本周市场关注的重点，主要是耶伦即将在杰克逊霍尔各国央行的会议上发表的讲话，而最近美联储官员鹰派言论频出，市场预期耶伦将会发表鹰派讲话，这提振美元逐步走强，从而使黄金承压，现货金价失手1330关口。
