德国DAX指数开盘下跌6.86点，跌幅0.07%，报10432.36点；英国富时100指数开盘上涨3.57点，涨幅0.05%，报6809.13点；法国CAC40指数开盘下跌4.71点，跌幅0.11%，报4415.46点；西班牙IBEX35指数开盘下跌19.00点，跌幅0.22%，报8562.50点；意大利富时指数开盘下跌22.82点，跌幅0.14%，报16743.82点。
英国央行委员麦卡弗蒂称，如果经济证明已如初步调查信号所显示的转为下行，相信可能需要更多宽松；利率可进一步下调，并接近零水平，量化宽松也可进一步加码；这一言论令市场对英国央行扩大宽松的预期升温，提振了欧洲股市。
在线杂货快递公司Ocado股价盘初走高，此前该公司宣布英国超市集团WM Morrison将会允许该公司将业务扩大到英国。
丹麦珠宝公司Pandora股价盘初大跌5%，因此前该公司公布的第二季度净利润不及预期。
