美国7月就业市场状况指数终于录得正值
美联储(FED)周一(8月8日)数据显示，美国7月就业市场状况指数(LMCI)为1，高于预期值0，在连续六个月处于负值区间后终于录得正值，加上最新的非农人数表现抢眼，加息预期或进一步升温。
美国劳工部(DOL)上周五公布的数据显示，美国7月非农就业人数增加25.5万人，远超市场预期增加18.0万人，前值增加28.7万人；同时，美国7月份失业率为4.9%，预期为4.8%，前值为4.9%。美国劳工部还将6月非农就业人数修正为增加29.2万人。同时，7月非农的另一大亮点是薪资增长加速。数据显示，美国7月平均每小时薪资月率增长0.3%；年率增幅则增长2.6%，继续创下危机后以来的最高增速；这也反映了在就业市场趋紧的同时，一直以来被称为拖后腿的薪资水平出现改善迹象。
美联储曾表示该指标比非农更好地反映出劳动力市场的真实状况。然而目前而言，美国广义经济似乎没有跟上就业市场的强劲表现。虽然美国消费者支出近期也录得上涨，但企业方面的投资却受到抑制，导致美国GDP增幅远逊于预期。美联储理事鲍威尔在英国《金融时报》周一刊登的采访中表示，他较以往更担心美国经济增长疲软的状况可能会持续更长，美国潜在经济增长率可能更低，暗示要达到美联储目前对美国经济增长的预期，实际利率水平也要更低。
鲍威尔同时指出，美国的经济仍然面临许多海外带来的下行风险，在全球其他地区需求疲软的情况下，美联储恐很难加息。他补充道，美联储想要实施加息，国内需求和就业强劲增长、通胀水平接近2%、不存在明显的全球风险事件，这三大条件缺一不可。
