日本维持利率不变：周四早间，日本央行意外宣布维持当前利率水平不变，未扩大货币刺激，并继续维持当前购债规模不变，消息公布后，日元兑美元汇率短线飙升超2%，引起了美指直线暴跌，从而提振黄金大幅拉升。
美国成屋销售上涨：周三公布的数据显示，美国3月成屋签约销售月率增长1.4%，至110.5，好于预期增长0.5%，创下5月以来最高水平。成屋签约销售指数月率好于预期，表明美国房地产市场依然向好发展，这对美元构成利好，从而使黄金承压，限制了昨夜金价的涨幅。
