今年年初黄金市场的表现堪称强劲，然而事实上，每年年初都是黄金市场的旺季，金价在这段时间内一直都有着比较良好的表现。
在2013年，金价大跌28%之后收于1238美元/盎司，而到2014年年初，到3月中旬金价一路上涨到1392美元/盎司。
2014年金价最终收于1186美元/盎司，到2015年1月20日，金价大幅回升到了1307美元/盎司水平。
而上述两年年初的大幅上涨所触及的顶部即是当年的最高水平。但这两次金价最终都震荡走低，金价年内收跌
因此，即使今年第一周黄金市场出现强劲表现，黄金多头也绝不能就此放松。
