美新屋数据不佳 黄金破位
黄金期货市场2015年4月黄金期价3月17日收于每盎司1148.10美元，比前一交易日下跌了5.70美元，跌幅为0.49 %。白银期货下跌了0.64%，报15.53美元。
美国2月新屋开工率意外暴跌：美国商务部周二公布的数据显示，美国2月新屋开工年化月率暴跌17.0%，预期下跌为2.4%，前值修正为持平。受到近期天气寒冷因素影响，美国2月新屋开工暴跌，单月跌幅创四年以来之最，然而营建许可回升，则表明美国2月新屋开工的骤跌只是暂时现象，数据不佳导致美指期货走低。虽然美元指数有明显疲软迹象，由于美联储决议召开在即，市场投资者等待结果出炉而维持谨慎的态度，黄金未能取得向上突破动能。
欧元区2月经济景气持续反弹：欧洲经济研究中心周二公布的数据显示，欧元区3月经济景气指数升至62.4，前值52.7，创下逾一年以来的高位。欧元区经济景气指数持续反弹上升，因欧洲央行实施购债计划，提振市场投资者对欧元区经济复苏的乐观态度，进一步提升市场风险情绪，且间接对黄金的避险需求构成打压，使国际金价缺乏反弹动能。
