纽元兑美元在隔夜创下五年新低后，周三(6月24日)难以昂首阔步，因投资人押注会有更多的降息。
纽元兑美元小升0.2%至0.6867美元，但仍接近2010年中以来的低位0.6815。
纽元兑全面走疲的欧元则表现较佳。欧元兑纽元跌至1.6284新西兰元，自本周稍早触及的16个月高位约1.6585回落。
受此帮助，纽元贸易加权汇率从周二所及的近三年低点提升。
纽元兑美元自5月以来已累计下跌了12%左右，有人预计，今年稍后该汇率将触及0.6500。
美联储理事鲍威尔周二(6月23日)表示，只要经济表现不出预期，他预计在9月和12月分别升息一次。
纽元本月受到重创，之前新西兰央行降息，并且不排除进一步行动，令一些人感到意外。
而澳元兑美元(0.7742, 0.0009, 0.12%)仍在本月迄今的波动区间0.7600-0.7850之内，在一定程度上反映了澳洲利率稳定的前景。该货币对最新报0.7734，日内持稳。自从4月触及六年低点0.7534之后，澳元就一直在横盘整理。澳元年内迄今累计下跌5.2%。
由于美国即将开始升息，澳元可能将进一步下跌，但可能不会大幅下挫。
