数据编撰机构Markit周三(4月1日)公布的数据显示，欧元区3月制造业增长速递加快，增添了经济正在回升的凭证。受此利好数据影响，欧元周三借势反弹，间接打压美元，国际金价受益上涨。
自欧洲央行正式实施购债计划之后，欧元区经济指标纷纷好转，表明该计划正在生效，同时欧元的疲软提振出口，也成为欧元区复苏势头逐渐强劲的一大迹象。任何经济好转的迹象自然令欧洲央行欣慰，欧央行于3月推出量化宽松政策，旨在推高通胀并刺激经济复苏。
对欧洲央行将推出量化宽松(QE)的猜测以及QE的最终推出令欧元自1月以来下跌近12%。
数据显示，欧元区3月制造业采购经理人指数(PMI)终值为52.2，创下10个月以来的高为，初值51.9。
Markit在报告中称，这是该指数连续第21个月高于荣枯分界线50。
Markit首席经济学家Williamson称，“PMI终值表明，欧元区制造业扩张情况略好于初值，进一步表明欧元区经济在经历了去年的放缓后开始复苏。
