印度计划放松黄金进口

麦格理集团在一份报告中称，印度政府在下个月联邦预算案后，将放松黄金的进口限制。
自新任政府上台后，印度黄金行业就一直希望黄金10%的进口关税被降低，并且放松80:20的进口规则。
报告称，由于原油进口增多风险存在，因此印度政府将谨慎的对黄金进口进行放松，此后进口额将回升到每个月50到70吨。
今年1季度印度平均每月进口黄金42吨，2季度平均每月进口黄金47吨。
“一些措施意味着会有更多目标为出口的黄金进入印度，而净进口没有大幅上升，”报告称，“但这也反映出对印度进口策略的理解，并且该国有着强劲的潜在需求。”
去年为控制经常账户赤字，印度政府对黄金进口进行了一系列限制措施，使得该国黄金进口大幅下跌。但同时也使得印度的黄金走私相当猖獗。
在对印度政府放松限制的预期下，印度国内的黄金价格升水已经降到了10个月来的最低水平。
