美国澳洲金币1月销量较去年下滑

《COIN UPDATE》报导，澳洲柏斯铸币局（Perth Mint）公布数据显示，1月金条金币销量较前月58,944盎司增加至64,818盎司，为连续第二个月增加，但略低于去年同期的65,684盎司；银条以及银币的销量较前月845,941盎司增加至912,388盎司，较去年同期的670,544盎司增加36%。报导指出，1月份银币销量较去年同期明显增长，主要因配合农历年推出5盎司马年银币的影响。
美国铸币局（U.S. Mint）数据则显示，1月鹰扬金币销量较去年同期的275,500盎司下滑至262,500盎司，鹰扬银币销量则较去年同期的7,498,000盎司大减至4,775,000盎司。2013年，美国鹰扬金币销量较上年度的753,000盎司增加至856,500盎司，鹰扬银币的销量则是较上年度的33,742,500盎司增加至42,675,000盎司，此并刷新历年的销量新高。
美国金条金币销售商Blanchard & Company总裁Donald W. Doyle认为金价的底部在1,200美元/盎司，称当金价位于1,200美元/盎司以下时，世界上相当一部分黄金矿商将面对负现金流，虽然短期内可以通过开采高质量金矿获取利润，但是长期来说，那样做是不可持续的，这将导致整体矿源的退化和开采寿命缩短。
世界黄金协会（World Gold Council）最新报告指出，2013年第三季世界黄金需求年减21%至869公吨，主要因为黄金ETF的投资持续流出的影响；反观第三季包括首饰、金条、金币等消费需求则是年增6%达到790.9公吨，1-9月更是年增26%达到创新高的2,896.5公吨。
