金价下跌致金矿开采量锐减

今年以来黄金现货价跌幅超过27%,这意味着许多金矿商的黄金储备将不具开发价值,贵金属供给量恐将因而缩减。嘉实XQ全球赢家系统报价显示,黄金现货12月27日上涨0.35%至1,214.55美元/盎司;周线收高1.05%。
英国金融时报29日报导,金矿商通常是在每年年初更新具开发价值的储备预估值。巴瑞克黄金公司(Barrick Gold Corporation)上一次是以1,500美元/盎司价格推估其下拥有1.4亿盎司黄金可开采量;纽蒙特矿业公司(Newmont Mining Corporation)则是以1,400美元/盎司作为预估标准、推估其黄金可开采量达9,900万盎司。加拿大金矿商Kinross Gold最新黄金可开采量预估值是架构在1,200美元/盎司的金价假设基础上。
纽蒙特今(2013)年初曾表示,金价每下跌100美元/盎司、可开采量储备就会减少7.6%。巴瑞克则是指出,金价每下跌300美元/盎司、可开采量储备就会减少将近10%。巴瑞克、澳洲最大金矿商Newcrest Mining今年以来已因金价下跌而减记数十亿美元资产。德意志银行分析师Jorge Beristain指出,过去13年来金价有12年是呈现上扬、黄金可开采量也随之走高,2014年预估多数厂商的可开采量肯定是向下修正。
Thomson Reuters 17日报导,俄罗斯金矿商Petropavlovsk预估2014年黄金产量约620,000-630,000金衡制盎司、年减16-17%。Petropavlovsk上半年因金价大跌而净损7.42亿美元。 《澳洲人报(The Australian)》6月14日报导,就在西方企业相继退出黄金采矿业的同时,中国厂商反倒积极进场捡便宜货。伦敦金库现在几乎已经空无一物,2,600万盎司的黄金已从伦敦转卖至瑞士、香港,最终流到中国人手中。
