黄金下跌 鲍尔森2013年亏损62%

据彭博社报道，黄金“死多头”鲍尔森公司在一份给其基金投资者的报告称：鲍尔森PFR黄金基金9月份下跌了16%。截至9月底，PFR黄金基金2013年下跌幅度已经达到62%。
鲍尔森PFR黄金基金投资的是黄金股票和相关衍生品，其规模为3.5亿美元。PFR三个字母分别来自鲍尔森、黄金专家Victor Flores和John Reade名字的第一个字母。
9月份，由于美联储一位官员暗示或在10月份小幅削减QE，以及叙利亚局势的影响，黄金生产商股票下跌了9.4%，金价下跌5%。
2013年的黄金市场让鲍尔森饱尝失败。由于鲍尔森坚信美联储QE政策最终会导致通胀，从而导致黄金和相关股票上涨，鲍尔森一度坚持做多黄金，并承受了巨额的亏损。
这份最新报告反映出，鲍尔森没有彻底放弃其既有观点。鲍尔森公司在上述报告中称：虽然现在的通胀和通胀预期都受到压制，但我们继续认为未来存在高通胀风险。我们只是处在一个暂停阶段，在主要通胀指标数据出现之前，这个阶段很有可能持续下去。受美国政府关门事件影响，美联储并没有像人们此前预期的那样削减QE。
