叙利亚战争恐并不足以持续推动国际金价

金价在8月27日上涨到五月中旬后最高位，聚集了一大批投资者的目光，知名在线黄金买卖服务商BullionVault称其新注册账户在8月27日也同时激增，当周新账户是4月开始黄金下跌后最多的一周，当周账户注入资金也是6月底以来最多的一周。
在黄金连续两月上涨后，各方分析人士对上周的金价爬升至高位的原因却只有一个—叙利亚。但真相或许并非如此。
军事威胁或许会带来极端压力，影响黄金白银的价格。但除非在极端的军事压力下，诸如1979年苏联入侵阿富汗那种，金价才会和战争直接挂钩。在别的情况下，西方投资者们会忽视这些海外的麻烦和冲突，金价会更侧重在货币问题上。
由于叙利亚与土耳其以色列等国接壤，其地缘政治更为复杂。今年9月将是雷曼兄弟(Lehman Brothers)破产5周年。雷曼的破产被看作是2008年金融危机的开始。
一战期间，贵金属价格超越了货币的价值。但是，在战争导火索被点燃之前，已经有许多货币政策在引导金价。2013年9月还是黄金价格达到顶峰1920美元两周年。今天的金价较之已经下跌了25%，不过比6月时下跌的40%已经回升不少。
